Vedic Art Mixed Media Course – An Extension of Principle 4

Explore the principles of Vedic Art through a rich combination of materials and textures. This course is an invitation to work in layers using textiles, rice paper, silk, threads, felt, and paint to discover new dimensions and deeper insights within your creative process.

Course content and structure The course includes morning lectures combined with daytime demonstrations in the studio, exploring different techniques and practical ways to use mixed materials. Please note that due to the demonstration moments, the studio atmosphere during this course will involve more practical guidance and interaction than the regular silent studio environment. A sculpture course with a Swedish group will also be taking place in the adjoining room, and their activities may be audible in the studio.

Maureen Voigt teaches painting, sculpture, and mixed media with Vedic Art, and teaches at Näsby on Öland during the summertime.

Prerequisites: This Course is for you who have completed the whole Foundation Course and learned all the 17 principles.

The course includes access to the Art Studio from Saturday night to Saturday morning.
